My daughter, Cassie, has been a hitter since she was little. It started when she was about 12 months old and it continued and even got worse for a period in there. As parents, Chris and I tried everything in our power to make it stop, from punishing her, to distracting her and more. It was during this time that I learned just how important it was to work with her childcare and to make sure we were on the same page when it came to dealing with the problem.
